As mentioned in my last post, I have been traveling and teaching in New Zealand. Having "crossed the ditch" (the Tasmin Sea) as they say, I am now in South Australia where I will continue some classes in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. It truly is a lovely part of the world. I completed this painting of a pond near my home just before leaving on the trip.

I missed this one earlier: very nicely done, and I really like the grass and the pond - very realistic. Getting those fine blades of grass to look right has always been a challenge for me!
