Summer is truly upon us here in VT. With this painting I wanted to focus on the beauty of the distant hillside. I wanted to convey a feeling of a warm, New England summer day. With many more days such as these, I'll be ready for winter!

Beautiful painting!
I love the depth and masterful use of color and light. This view reminds me of scenes along the Blueridge Parkway.
